Woman Bathing Her Feet at a Brook

  • Etching on laid paper. Signed and dated in the plate, top left.
  • From the first of two states according to Nowell Eusticke. From the Jean recueil, as issued in 1810. Before the reworking of the plate that occurs in the later Bernard and Beaumont recueils.
  • According to Nowell-Eusticke, the etching plate was made from the blank upper part of "Christ and the Woman Samaria" (B.70).
