The Expert Printers of the Millennium Impressions

In 1994 master printer Emiliano Sorini was engaged to take on the project. Sorini had previously printed etchings by Goya from original plates and was an ideal choice for the project. He along with his protégé, Marjorie Van Dyke, researched the project thoroughly to select suitable papers, inks, and methods of printing.

In 1998, Sorini became ill and was unable to proceed with the printing (he subsequently died in 1999). Van Dyke took over the printing project.
